West End Sessions invites audiences to share an intimate evening with some of the most renowned international stage
stars of the West End, Broadway and beyond.
Hosted by the UK’s leading West End performer, Daniel Koek (Les Misérables), audiences are treated to a unique evening of musical theatre song and warm performances that cannot be experienced anywhere else.
West End Sessions originally came to life at the beginning of 2018 and has enjoyed a growing success. We are now proud to welcome our audiences at the Scarlett Green restaurant in the heart of Soho to enjoy a stunning menu of Australian inspired food and wines prior to the show where audiences experience theatre’s most well-known faces up close and personal for an immersive evening of musical theatre, comedy and fun.
During the 2020 pandemic when theatres were forced to close their doors and live performance ceased, Daniel’s innovative nature inspired the creation of a livestreamed version of West End Sessions through his YouTube Channel. This provided theatre loving audiences an outlet as well as giving performers
a stage of sorts to maintain their craft.
It also provided the opportunity to use the livestream shows as a means to raise money for charity with £10,000 raised in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity. The artists performed from a covid safe location in London’s West End, livestreaming to musical theatre fans all over the world.
The Sessions have become so popular that Daniel has now been invited to bring the show to Italy as well as back to his
hometown for the 2021 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
“West End Sessions Livestream began as a means to give hope to both performers and musical theatre audiences alike
during one of the most challenging times the industry has had to live through. I’m so proud to see our fans embrace it in this way and now be able to take it around the world and share it with audiences in a live capacity again as we slowly emerge back into the physical limelight.”
